Music Ensembles for Elementary Students
Grace Lutheran School (GLS) has performance opportunities for our younger students as extracurricular activities. Musical ensemble groups at GLS include Choristers (elementary chorus), Elementary Band, Orchestral Strings, and Bells of Grace (handbell choir). Our award-winning ensembles perform at school concerts and church services throughout the school year as well as the Lutheran School Music Festival.

Fine Arts for Middle School Students
6th-8th grade fine arts are a regular course of study at GLS. We offer Spirit Singers (middle school choir) and Wildcat Band (middle school band). For the music ensembles, performances are the culmination of practice and an important, invaluable part of this music experience. As a result, students are expected to be in attendance when the groups perform at programs, church services, or other related events with the Florida Bandmasters Association and the Florida Vocal Association. Our students have also participated in Pinellas All-County Honor Choir.
Other Extracurricular Fine Arts Activities Include:
Praise Team (grades 5th-8th) - Students lead chapel with familiar hymns, children's worship songs, and contemporary Christian music.
Drama Club (grades 6th-8th) - Students learn about the theatrical arts through performing short plays, monologues, and improvisation.
Musical Theatre - Our school presents a musical production each spring. Past performances include: Annie Jr., Godspell Jr., Guys and Dolls Jr., The Wizard of Oz, and Disney's Peter Pan Jr.
