WILDCAT ATHLETIC PROGRAM
The goal of GLS athletics is to offer every Wildcat an opportunity to play sports in a Christ-like environment where principles of good sportsmanship, teamwork and God-pleasing behavior are encouraged and reinforced.
Junior Wildcat Athletic Program (JWAP) Junior Kindergarten - Grade 4
The purpose of JWAP is to build the skills of our youngest Wildcats while promoting teamwork in a Christ-centered environment.
Led by GLS staff and volunteers, a variety of sports are offered for our younger Wildcats during four JWAP seasons. After school practices occur twice a week with games on Saturday mornings:
- soccer
- t-ball
- lacrosse
- basketball
- flag football
- cheerleading
Junior Varsity and Varsity Athletics
Athletes in 5th though 8th grade compete against other Lutheran schools in the Central Florida area, as well as other local private and charter schools. Wildcats can participate in the following sports throughout the school year:
- Basketball
- Bowling
- Cheerleading
- Flag Football
- Golf
- Soccer
- Tennis
- Track
- Volleyball
